At one of our fantastic on-campus Open Days, you’ll see first hand how we are championing digital innovation and new ways of teaching to deliver next generation education.
There will be opportunity to chat to our academics discover how we transform people, place, and society by taking our research into the community to solve real world problems. Our students will also be available to discuss campus life, student support, and the best places to live on campus.
What to expect
There’s no better way to find out what Staffordshire University is like than to see it for yourself. Come along to one of our Open Days and you’ll get a brilliant insight into our friendly student community.

Talks and tours
We offer a variety of talks throughout the day, covering everything from student finance to our unique learning experience. Our academics will be running subject talks, where you can delve into what you’ll be studying on a particular course, see the specialist facilities and hear about career opportunities.
Our friendly student ambassadors are on hand to help you to get to know our campus – from teaching and learning spaces to social areas where you can relax between classes. If you’re looking to live on campus, join one of our student-led tours to see our variety of accommodation close-up. Explore inside some of the student halls and houses that you could soon be calling home.
Information and support
Our Information Fair is dedicated to answering your non-course related questions. Meet our student support teams who can help with finance support, wellbeing and accommodation.

Student life
You’ll find so much to offer on campus, including social hangouts and cafes. You can also find out about how to get involved with dozens of clubs and societies.
After your Open Day, why not explore the local area? You’ll find shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance of our Stoke-on-Trent campus, and a short bus journey from Stafford.
Stoke-on-Trent campus
The Open Day registration point is in the Catalyst building on our Leek Road site.
If you’re travelling by train, you’ll need to get off at Stoke-on-Trent railway station and head out of the main doors on platform 1. Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing then turn right, heading past the station car park. The open day registration point is a short walk from here If you need further directions, you can find our student ambassadors at the railway station and on campus. They’re easy to spot in their red uniform.
Both our College Road and Leek Road sites have excellent bus links within the city centre and wider area. Open day signage will direct you around the campus and lead you to the registration point.
Our Stoke-on-Trent campus is within easy reach of the M6 motorway, A50 and A34 if you’re travelling by car. To get to the Open Day car parks on Leek Road, use the postcode ST4 2DF. This postcode will take you to our main entrance, where our ambassadors will direct you to the nearest car park. The Catalyst Building, where you will need to register, is a short walk from all of our Leek Road car parks. Parking is free on Open Days.
