About the course
This course will help you develop your practical skills in the creative art of cutting women’s hair. You will also develop underpinning knowledge on how to carry out effective consultation services on clients and to follow all health and safety aspects of the services
What will I study?
Mandatory units:
Follow health and safety practice in the salon
Client consultation for hair services
Cut women’s hair
All units have exams and or assignments attached alongside practical assessments
What will I need?
You will need:
- To have a good understanding of English at Level 1 or higher enabling you to sit exams and complete assignments
- Any level 1 qualification previously acheived in any subject
- Be able to commit to the 12 week programme of study
